The
Spiritual Baptist Online News Magazine wishes to send out ‘Happy Birthday’
Greetings to Reverend Vincent Cobbler and wife, Mother Betty Ann Cobbler.
The duo
celebrated their 50th birthdays with a massive thanksgiving service on Sunday October
22, in Brooklyn, New York.
Both
Reverend Cobbler and Mother Betty Ann are from south Trinidad.
Among
those present at the celebration were, Reverend Cobbler’s mother, (Mother Sheila
Adams), his sister (Teacher Donna Cobbler-Thompson), Bishop Junior Mitchell, Mother
Desiree Mitchell and scores of other members of the Spiritual Baptist religion.
Reverend
Cobbler is the Pastor of St. Catherine’s Spiritual Baptist Church #2, located at
48 Milford Street, Brooklyn, New York.
Addressing the guests at the celebration, Mother Betty Ann said that she was
echoing the words of the reverend when she stated that they ‘were celebrating their youth’. She
added that the Almighty has blessed her tremendously and for this she had all
reasons to give thanks.
Unfortunately, neither her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Boswell of San Fernando,
Trinidad, her son, nor sister, Esther Ann, were able to attend this milestone celebration.
However,
with the number of well-wishers who attended the birthday thanksgiving Mother
Betty Ann was
made to feel the love that her kin were unable to (personally) shower upon her
at this memorable occasion.
The Cobblers
have been keeping the Spiritual Baptist flames burning in Brooklyn, New York
Again,
HAPPY
BIRTHDAY AND GOD BLESS!
