THE ANSWER
While God
was walking in His garden one day
He heard a
faint voice very far away
God stepped
to the edge so he could hear
As he drew
nearer this is what came to his ear

Father, I
am weary, worn and sad
I need a
shoulder to lean upon
My burden
is great and my road is rough
Please,
righteous Father, help me to be tough
I have
sinned and fallen from grace
Incredible,
loving Father, in your arms please find me a place

God
answered and said
My dear
child I have heard your prayers
And I
answered you so long ago but you didn’t hear
I sent you
the shoulder to lean upon
But you
turned it away for you felt it wasn’t the right one
I sent you
the strength to walk the rough road
But you
were too busy to share your load
I sent you
the arms in the form of another
But you
turned them away saying you can’t be bothered

You need to
slow down and be very still
For you
will not find my answer in the sky, sea, or on a hill
Look closer
and you will see the answer I have sent thee
So my dear
child, wipe your eyes and cry no more
For your
answer is at your front door
Do not be
afraid and do not be ashamed
Just open
your door and let me come in
